Rich’s relationship with computers began in his infancy, when he managed to wipe the hard drive on his Dad’s 386. He’s come a long way since then, having completed a Master’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering at Bristol University, and become a skilled web developer and master of the Drupal CMS.

Rich landed at Sift Digital back in Feb 2011, and has spent the last year leading backend development on a number of exciting projects. When he’s not squeezing the best out of Drupal, Rich works closely with other senior members of the dev team to help streamline processes and development internal projects.

Rich is an avid musician, having played bass guitar for numerous outfits over the years, from grunge/rock to blues/jazz. He also has a passion for travel, endeavouring to visit at least one new country every year (this year it was Cambodia, so no complaints there...).

Oh and if you ever want a game of hacky sack, Rich is your man.
